Job Description
Opportunity to work with a well establish company and leader of their industry.
The Assistant Procurement Manager will be the focal point for overall end to end Procurement activities. This person will be working closely with the Supply Chain team to help drive growth of the company. Amongst the many responsibilities some are listed below:
- Responsible for procurement process from monitoring purchase requisitions
- Be part of the vendor management team (tendering, qualifying, monitoring and sourcing new vendors)
- Ensuring documents submission are according to requirements.
- Adhering to company procedures throughout the procurement process
- Oversee the purchase requisition and Open PO efficiently.
- Reviewing policies with the management team to improve process and procedures.
- To handle ad hoc task given by Head of department
- Constantly evaluating strategy for sourcing and procurement.
- At least Degree in Supply Chain or any related field
- At least 5 years in manufacturing setting within procurement function
- Good interpersonal skill to handle internal and external stakeholders
- Great problem solving skill
- Strong analytical skill
