Job responsibilities:-
Procurement:

Evaluate supplier quotations, conduct price analysis, and recommend preferred vendors.
Support in tendering processes, including issuing RFQs/RFPs, bid evaluations, and commercial clarifications.
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and service levels.
Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure timely delivery of goods/services.
Contract Management:
Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, including subcontracts, supplier agreements, and service contracts.
Support negotiation of contract terms and conditions to protect company interests and ensure clarity.
Track contract milestones, variations, claims, and renewal timelines.
Help manage contract close-out, extension, or renewal processes.
Ensure contract documentation is properly filed and accessible.
Compliance & Coordination:
Work closely with project managers, legal teams, and finance departments to ensure smooth procurement and contract processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal procurement policies.
Contribute to process improvements and cost control initiatives.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain management, preferably in construction or engineering industries.
Skills:
Strong understanding of procurement and contract procedures.
Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, PAM, JKR, etc.).
Good negotiation and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

. Procurement Operations
Execute and manage sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of goods and services as per project or company needs.
Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs), Delivery Orders (DOs), and follow-up on deliveries and supplier performance.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., project, finance, engineering) to consolidate procurement needs and specifications.
2. Vendor & Contract Management
Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers/vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable service.
Conduct negotiations to achieve the best value while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
Manage vendor performance, handle disputes, and build long-term supplier relationships.
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing supply or service contracts.
3. Cost & Compliance Control
Monitor procurement budgets and help identify cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation for audit purposes.
4. Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular reports on procurement status, spending analysis, vendor performance, and risk issues.

Support digital procurement tools or ERP systems implementation and usage.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:

Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in procurement, preferably in construction, engineering, or manufacturing industries.
Experience in handling project-based or high-volume procurement is an added advantage.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier evaluation techniques.
Familiar with procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ERP systems).
Good understanding of commercial terms, incoterms, and contract principles.
