DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in managing the company's supply portfolio by ensuring transparency of spending.
Assist to generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
Adhere to the procurement policy and standard operating procedures.
Adhere to the negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals.
Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency.
Cooperate with the various stakeholders to capitalize on terms and processes.
Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers.
Monitor the performance of suppliers to ensure that PPK receives the highest quality of service and price at all times.
Mitigate risks by adhering to the procurement risk minimizing techniques.
Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure vendors are being paid according to the payment terms.
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
Make site visit where necessary
Processing project/ task amount RM500k and below
Willing and able to assist and/or take on other tasks with fellow employees from other departments as part of the multitasking policy of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Accountancy / supply chain management / logistics or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
Good command of English in both spoken and written.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
Good knowledge of accounting regulations and frameworks.
