Job Description
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time-management skills
- A valuable team player and able to work independently
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess own transport and willing to travel
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for ingredients, packaging materials, and other related products
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and address any issues related to product quality, delivery, or service
- Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order creation, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting
- Ensure timely procurement of goods to avoid disruptions in production and distribution
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and conditions
- Conduct cost benchmarking and market analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams to coordinate inventory management and minimize stockouts or excess inventory
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management
