Job Description

:

1. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors.

2. Prepare and issue

Purchase Orders (PO)

and

Request for Quotation (RFQ)

.

3. Compare supplier quotations and prepare

comparison analysis

.

4. Monitor

material delivery schedules

to site.

5. Maintain accurate

procurement records

and cost databases.

6. Support project and site teams with material requirements.

7. Ensure procurement activities comply with

company policies and project budgets

.

Requirement:

1. At least Diploma/Degree in

Quantity Surveying, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering/ Construction Management

or a similar field preferred.

2. At least

3 years

working experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain related fields and proven experience in procurement.

3. Experienced in construction will have an advantage.

4. Strong knowledge of general procurement systems.

5. Strong negotiation and communication skills.

6. Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic and team-oriented environment.

8 Ability to travel locally and outstation to perform stock count duties.

9. Willing for travelling.

Technical & Professional Skills

1. Familiar with

construction materials, equipment, and services

.

2. Knowledge of

tendering processes

,

contract terms

, and

BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

.

3. Ability to read and understand

construction drawings and specifications

.

4. Competent in

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

and

procurement systems (e.g. ERP, AutoCount, or SAP)

.

5. Basic understanding of

CIDB

and

local procurement regulations

is an advantage.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm

Job Type: Full-time (Contract)- Renewal every year (based on performance)
