Job Description

• Candidate must possess at least a Higher Secondary/STPM/"A" Level/Pre-U, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor\'s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in any field.
• At least 2 year working experience in Procurement/ Purchasing or equivalent in same position
• Experience in Food & Beverage/ Retail Industry is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in GMP, HACCP & Halal Certification is an added advantage.
• Required skill(s): MS Office or ERP system related experience.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
• Possess good negotiation, communication and leadership skill.
• Possess high level of communication and analytical skill.
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Purchase Order upon receiving quotation/request for approval.
• Source for new product / supplier as and when required.
• Perform negotiation with suppliers for the best deal.
• Compile and update Product Specification, Halal and HACCP Certificate for all food & non-food items.
• Work closely with warehouse department on the optimum inventory level.
• Compile price fluctuation and update management on weekly basis.
• Follow up and ensure prompt delivery by suppliers.
• Communicate with supplier on the complaints as and when needed.
• Conduct Supplier Questionnaire or Evaluation before qualifying new suppliers periodically.
• Ensure invoice closing and price matching between the invoice & ERP system.
• Ensure good housekeeping on ERP system.
• Forecast demand or bulk purchase plan that ensure availability of materials or products.
• Handle and liaise with contractors on outlets & CK repair issues.
• Keep track and arrange preventive maintenance schedule for outlets & CK.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as and when required
