:
1. Prepare details purchase order based on approved requisitions.
2. Monitor the status of POS and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
3. Collaborate with production, finance and warehouse teams to align procurement issue RFQ'sto multiple suppliers for comparison, ensuring the most cost-effective and quality option isselected.
4. Support new product development by sourcing innovative materials and components asneeded.
5. Generate and maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier contracts and invoices.
6. Negotiate contracts, pricing and terms to achieve cost efficiency and ensure long-term supply
7. Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
8. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
9. Able to manage tasks with minimal supervision and meet deadlines efficiently.

Requirements :
1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or relatedfield.
2. More than 5 years' experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
3. Familiarity with import/export procedures and customs regulations.
4. Proficiency in Bahasa English, Bahasa Malay and proficiency in Mandarin is highly preferred.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement systems (ERP-SAGE software preferred.)
6. Fluency in Chinese is an added advantage.
