About Our Client
Our client is a well-established global FMCG company with huge footprint across the globe, with their products well embedded into our daily life.
With the recent increase in demand locally/overseas, they are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join in their leadership team.
As the Procurement Manager, you will be expected to have strong procurement experience within the manufacturing segment. Among the many responsibilities some are listed below:
Developing and executing a procurement strategy that supports local commercial plans while delivering Procurement key targets (Growth, Financial, Resilience)
In depth understanding of business priorities and regular interaction and alignment with the Management Team.
Ensuring service and quality objectives are maintained and continuously improved, and all issues are resolved quickly.
Implementing metrics, tools, and new processes to optimise sourcing, supplier innovation and business simplification (ie. Relationship Management Programs, KPI\'s, Redesigning processes for simplification, etc.)
Developing and implementing comprehensive plans to ensure organisational readiness for the implementation of improved sourcing processes and strategies.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor\'s degree in any relevant field
4 to 6 years of experience within the Procurement segment, experience within FMCG industry will be an added advantage
Strong negotiation skills
Experience in vendor evaluations and action planning
Self-starter and team player keen on working in cross-cultural working environment
