About the role
As the Procurement Manager, you will take full ownership of site local procurement activity management concerning complex equipment, parts and service, and you are expected to lead the local team to fulfil the key routines including but not limited to local EPS request support, supplier management/ negotiations, cost saving project management, internal stakeholder management as well as any other key projects directed from the global team.
What you will do:
Liaise with suppliers and user department for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best delivery, mainly on equipment, spare parts and service.
Payment term negotiation, Contract and vendor performance management
Responsible for the Procurement operation, to update and maintain PO in purchasing system and enquire customer and product specification at USER need.
Benchmark and formulate best-fit procurement vehicles to drive cost savings and efficiency improvement
Measure and feedback supplier performance
Execute activities that drive KPIs including but not limited to cost savings, hands free purchasing, supplier consolidation, P2P, etc.
Sensitive to the supply market, obtain market knowledge and experience to develop negotiation strategies
Source of information, current trends and best practices in procurement area
Enforce the procurement policy and ensure all purchases are fully comply with the requirement
Develop proper relationship with internal stakeholders for fulfil the task within expectations
Lead site EPS procurement team.
What you will need
Essential requirements:
Bachelor or above in Engineering/Finance/Business or equivalent
Over 8-10 years of Semicon Equipment purchasing/Indirect procurement experience.
Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Outstanding supplier relationship management skills
Strong Negotiation, analytical and communication skills in verbal and written English
Team builder and player, with a hands-on work ethic
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple activities or projects at one time
Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint presentation and data analytical skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills on an international level
Willingness to travel occasionally
