Job Description

Responsible for setting up and managing the site procurement policy.

Emphasis on strategy, supplier development, negotiations, business relationships, cost, assurance of supply and predictability

Develop procurement strategies, policies and tactics required to achieve objectives

Own and develop supplier relationships - key business interface with the supply base

Develop and execute supplier selection & sourcing strategy

Accountable and responsible for managing suppliers database

Supplier contract negotiation and cost reduction

Continuous improvement on supply chain efficiency and biz continuity plan

Performs tasks as assigned and applies experience to align individual work with overall strategy using discretion and judgment.

Review performance metrics on a regular basis, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree in Management or Engineering with minimum 7 years related experience required.
• Demonstrated strong communication, leadership and ability to drive the team members to achieve the organizational goals.
• Knowledge in planning, SMI/VMI, inventory and supplier stocking strategy.
• Prior management experience within a Manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills, speaks effectively and listens actively to others.
• Experience in presenting the report and project status to management team.
• Demonstrated ability to work with peers, partners, others and actively engages in collaborative cross functional projects.
