Employer Background Electronic Manufacturing Services Position Title Procurement Manager Working Location Johor Bahru Salary Range Up to RM16,000 The main duties are as follows:

• Responsible for planning, logistics & warehouse and purchasing.
• Implementing and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
• Managing daily supply chain activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.
• Managing supplier relations and negotiating with local and international suppliers on price, quantity, quality, and trading terms to meet the Company\'s objective.
• To monitor suppliers\' delivery performance.
• To compile the information from all stores and analyse customer purchasing behaviour and market trend.
• Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
• Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
• Working to improve supply chain systems and processes.
• Training new employees in the purchasing, planning and inventory process.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor Degree in in any disciplinary or equivalent
• Minimum 10 year\'s working experience in the related field.
• Experience in ERP environment. Candidate with Epicor experience will be an added advantage
• Good communication skills and proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and mandarin
• Proactive problem solving, follow up and strong negotiation skills.
• Leadership skill and people management skill are required.
• To perform any adhoc task assigned by the HOD or top management
• Trust-worthy, Goal-Oriented, Creative, Innovative and high ability to work under pressure
