SOCAR aims to change the way people in South East Asia move around by becoming the biggest car-sharing platform in South East Asia. We are currently the biggest player in Malaysia and aim to scale out our product offering across more verticals and geographies.

What will you be engaged in?

• Evaluate and manage end to end procurement process including Purchase Request (PR), Purchase Order (PO), Work Order (WO) and Vendor Sourcing for all goods and services
• Develop strategic sourcing strategy, in-line with company\'s business direction through market research, price analysis and other applicable methods
• Owning, maintaining and educating users on Procurement Policy to ensure company-wide compliance
• Maintaining price database and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Implement improvement activities to further enhance company\'s Procurement Policy and Procurement Tools/Software
• Implementing Vendor Management System which includes conducting vendor\'s background check and periodical performance evaluation while maintaining good supplier relationship with the vendors
• Managing all assets\' inventory management and fleet database, including fleet renewal activities (roadtax, permit, insurance etc) as well as asset disposal activities
• Committee member to review projects with big amount as and when required
• Prepare management report and update as and when required
• Support other ad-hoc project and procurement activities

In addition, you should ideally have the following;

• At least 5 years experience in managerial role. Experience in Automotive/Car Rental/Car Sharing industry is an added advantage
• Bachelor\'s Degree in Automotive/Business Studies/Supply Chain/Economic and any other relevant course
• Proficient in Netsuite or other similar Procurement software and/or vendor management tools
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google Workspace Tools (Excel, Words, etc)
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Keen attention to details
• Independent and self-starter
• Team player with a positive attitude and keen to work in a startup environment
• Have impeccable work attitude, willing to learn and do whatever it takes to get it done
