Your Impact:
Jacobs is looking for a Procurement Manager to support our ongoing Rail and Transit projects. The successful candidate will support multiple projects and be based in the Jacobs Malaysian, Kuala Lumpur office . This role requires the successful candidate to:

• prepare commercial documents and templates for use on engineering procurement contracts;
• compile contract documentation for large engineering procurements;
• review commercial claims submitted by third parties;
• review and verify payment applications submitted by third parties
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
• Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients

Here\xe2\x80\x99s What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

• With a Bachelor\'s degree in supply chain management, business administration, purchasing management or a related field of study,
• Relevant significant years of professional experience metro or rail projects;
• Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
• Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
• have experience preparing procurement documents for large engineering contracts;
• have experience preparing and reviewing bills of quantities within contract documents; and negotiated variation orders to engineering contracts;
• Have proven experience administering contracts on rail and transit projects
• Alent in negotiations and networking
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable
• Good written and verbal skills
• Willing to travel to meet project needs
