Efficient Sourcing:

Efficiently and creatively source high-quality items and services within budget and time constraints

Roles & Responsibilities:

Event Procurement:

o Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to provide necessary goods and services for events, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

o Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.

?

Vendor Management:

o Liaise with contractors and vendors to coordinate deliveries, services, and ensure compliance with event timelines and standards.

o Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain strong working relationships.

?

Creative Problem-Solving:

o Develop out-of-the-box solutions to meet unique event needs, including sourcing uncommon items or services.

o Stay informed about industry trends and innovative products that could enhance event experiences.

?

Budget Management:

o Manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.

o Track expenditures and provide reports on procurement activities and cost savings.

?

Compliance and Documentation:

o Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.

o Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier evaluations.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

?

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.

Negotiation Skills:

Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and build strong relationships with suppliers.

?

Creativity:

Demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to meet unique procurement challenges.

?

Organizational Skills:

Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Technological Proficiency:

Experience with AI tools and a demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.

Capacity to think and work swiftly in a dynamic environment.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
