Job Description
- This role is responsible for sourcing raw materials, managing suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, building strong communication between stakeholders as well as ensuring business continuity and compliance.
- Responsible to handle raw material sourcing.
- Oversee the timely fulfillment of material and service needs.
- Create and implement a purchasing strategy to gain a competitive edge.
- Plan and source suppliers, solicit and evaluate quotes, negotiate terms and prices, and select the most suitable vendors using our Global Tool.
- Monitor supplier performance to ensure adherence to contracts and resolve any issues that arise.
- Provide expert advice and collaborate with internal teams and suppliers.
- Manage programs to ensure business continuity, safeguard company assets, and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies.
- Continuously enhance the procurement process by improving communication between suppliers and stakeholders.
- Degree in any related studies
- 4-6 years of working experience in the FMCG manufacturing environment
- Excellent in procurement, sourcing, demand markets and negotiation skills
- Min 3 years of managerial/leadership experience
- Knowledge in using SAP system
- Work independently as well within team
