The Operations team partners closely with ResMed\xe2\x80\x99s five business leaders to understand their needs then providing a variety of products and services to help them meet those needs including Customer and Technical Services, Global Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Focused on enabling new product introduction and operating excellence, our team strives to improve time to market for new products and services, improve efficiencies in our cross-functional processes, and improve our supply chain through digitization and automation to increase value add to our customers.

Job Summary

The primary role of Global Supplier Alliance (GSA) is the face of Procurement in ResMed. GSA connects teams, co-workers, and suppliers the world over. We leverage our expertise, relationships, resources, and global reach to help deliver the best supply outcomes aligned to business needs. But it is not just asking How can we help? It is how we help. The ResMed Procurement team (GSA) comprises of direct and indirect procurement, risk & compliance, digital, supplier engineering and procurement operations. The work the GSA team does touches everyone in ResMed, our valued suppliers and finally, the users of ResMed products and services the world over.

Procurement Operations is currently undergoing a transformation. The role of Procurement Operations Manager will be involved in the implementation and ensuring continued delivery of value to the business. In the future state, Procurement Operations will become the gateway into procurement in ResMed. The team will provide incremental support across the Source to Pay cycle, especially on Procure to Pay. Provide advisory services to the business, ensure compliance to the Global Procurement Policy and associated processes, and provide system support and training across the procurement lifecycle.

How can you help?

  • Leverage your deep procurement expertise to identify and implement procurement improvements
  • Provide sourcing, supplier onboarding and supplier management advisory support to the business
  • Lead the team to drive the adoption of the Procurement Policy & associated processes
  • Monitor and analyse procurement operation process solutions and provide key metrics to the business to ensure ongoing relevance and compliance
  • Lead and support the management of supplier master data to ensure data integrity
  • At times, provide assistance to the concierge service for employees relating to Purchase-to-pay tools
  • Collaborate and form strong relationships with internal stakeholders like Finance, Planning, Operations leaders and employees across the business\xe2\x80\x99
  • Support the enablement of sourcing and procurement applications
  • Assist the analysis of procurement operations related data and processes
  • Serve as the global super-user to provide support and/deliver training on key procurement technologies
  • Assist the relevant business users in the buying of goods/services for assigned categories
  • Lead the buying team as required
Let\xe2\x80\x99s talk about Qualifications and Experience
  • A strong people manager with experience working leading and supporting Procurement Operations in an MNC or global environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of procurement and P2P solutions like Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud
  • A process thinker and data literate person who will rapidly develop their understanding of ResMed\xe2\x80\x99s business, products and organisation to apply their procurement expertise within the ResMed context
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • A strong understanding of procurement processes and exhibits the capacity to effectively self-execute the transactional procurement processes
  • Strong facilitation skills to communicate, influence and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Ability to challenge the status quo to develop innovative solutions to enhance the team\xe2\x80\x99s quality and effectiveness
  • Able to assist in additional analytical related activities including but not limited to compliance and Procurement metrics
  • Proven experience applying change management and project management tools to complete business initiatives
  • Ability to work cross culturally
Preferred:
  • Degree holder in business, procurement or finance or related discipline or MCIPs qualified
  • Experience leading projects
  • Experience working in manufacturing and direct procurement
  • Experience supporting quality audits
