Job Description


  • Enhance the existing procurement policies, procedures, and strategic sourcing plans and develop further, including all regulatory aspects.
  • Manage and working with oversea supplier to achieve optimal terms, which meet the company\'s requirements for pricing, quality, regulations and delivery timescales.
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement / Shipment Coordinator or similar role
  • Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies / oversea shipment arrangement
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure advantageous terms with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with the capacity to address issues proactively and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize procurement processes.
  • Work closely with shipper & forwarder for good relationship.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations governing procurement operations.
  • Monitor and report on procurement processes and performance metrics.
  • Engage with senior management to provide regular updates on procurement strategy and initiation.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, aiming for cost-effective deals that meet specifications and standards.
  • Finalize purchase details, including orders and delivery schedules.
  • Inspect and evaluate forwarder performance, taking necessary actions to address any discrepancies and resolve shortcomings.
  • Thoroughly examine and keep close track for all shipment and update on time.
  • Track, review, and improve procurement processes and service levels, striving for continuous enhancement of efficiency and quality.
  • Implement best practices in procurement and able to work independently.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: From RM2,500.00 per month Benefits:

Education:

Experience:
  • Procurement: 2 years (Preferred)
