• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Puchong.
• Able to speak, write and read in Mandarin is a MUST as you are required to deal with China suppliers.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Procurement/Purchasing personnel to support our projects in loose furniture/ soft furnishing materials/ decorative items by liaising with local suppliers and China Procurement/ Purchasing Team at competitive pricing and terms.

What are your job responsibilities?

• Obtain and source for competitive quotations from various supplier (local & overseas)
• Source new and alternative suppliers whenever necessary and price negotiations for best price and payment terms.
• Undertake to improve and monitors vendors performance in terms of pricing, quality and delivery.
• Track order status and follow up closely with the suppliers on delivery time frame against the orders and purchasing matter.
• Build relationship with suppliers and constantly sources for suppliers who offer the best value.
• In charge of all documentations, such as preparations of payment requisition form, matching job (Invoice, DO, PO) before submission to Finance & Accounts Dept.
• To review and provide recommendations on process and system improvement.
• Logistic arrangement from Overseas to Malaysia.
• Prepare and review tender project documents and product specifications
• Quantity taking off as per tender documentations.
• Attend to progressive claims for each project site as required.
