As a Test Debug Specialist, your job responsibilities span from new product development/ramping towards the full life cycle of FPGA or CPLD products development. Key responsibilities include: Responsible for product testing/engineering debug with respect to testing methods, procedures, problem device specification, yield problems and optimizing production test. Support rapid ramping of new product from introduction to volume manufacturing. Drive technical issue debug and resolution involving silicon, software, hardware, and firmware through interface with cross-functional teams with respect to testing methods, procedures, device specification issues, yield problems and test-related optimization. Provide technical support for customer return failure analysis and problem resolution. Lead development of innovative test methods/flows to drive continuous product improvement in terms of cost, yield, test time and quality. Responsible to develop and enhance FA/FI techniques and electric failure analysis (EFA) tools to improve the success rate in supporting RISO debug and root cause investigation, focusing on SCAN/ATPG/Hard memory contents. Co-own SCAN/ATPG/Array test contents. Qualifications Requirements: BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, test, and/or design. Good analytical, problem solving/debugging skills and resourceful. Strong background in post silicon troubleshooting, include hands-on experience with schematics, layout, silicon debug, data analysis and ability to make quick decision. Experience in yield enhancement, binning improvement, process targeting, cost reduction, customer support, or quality improvement efforts, on Final Test or Wafer Sort area. Knowledge and experience in semiconductor ATE testing Well versed with Scan, ATPG, Memory, and IO testing Experience on multi-chip fault isolation models and test algorithms Good working experience with C/C++/Perl/TCL/Python Sound statistical knowledge and familiar with commonality analysis of production test data. Experience in using JMP software with sound knowledge in JSL/Python scripting for development of automated solutions. Added advantage if candidate possesses the following: Knowledge in the following areas: high-speed transceivers, digital logic design, digital/analog circuits, IC manufacturing flow, process technology, semiconductor failure analysis techniques, test/measurement equipment Sound knowledge on Intel test infrastructure, e.g., test program platform/tool, HDMT/CMT operating knowledge, etc. Experience in product development phase specifically in full chip and system-level requirements, design for verification, debug, quality, manufacturability and cost reduction.
