Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced OT (Operational Technology) Cybersecurity Product Development Manager (PDM) to join a sector-leading practice focused on protecting mission critical
systems and critical national infrastructure. This role is a core element of a service to protect some of the world\'s leading organizations from cybersecurity threats.
As an OT Cybersecurity PDM, you will play a leading role in the opportunity development and successful implementation of Siemens Energy\'s OT cybersecurity projects. Drawing on your skills and
experience, you will deftly adapt portfolio solutions and approaches to fit opportunity development requirements, considering regulation, compliance needs, and competitor analysis. You will identify
the key needs of customers, and then pursue follow on discussions and activities to drive an opportunity to close of a sale. You will have the ability to proactively identify new opportunities by
aligning strategic insight and cyber trends to customer needs. Finally, you will need excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and
colleagues to foster the success of industrial cybersecurity across the business. The role aims to drive growth and establish Siemens Energy as a leader in industrial cybersecurity.
How You\'ll Make an Impact
You are a key member of a cross-functional team at Siemens Energy, which includes cybersecurity experts, sales professionals, and customer-facing colleagues. Your primary role involves leveraging
established cybersecurity solutions for our customers, proactively contributing to shaping the industrial cybersecurity market and positioning Siemens Energy as a recognized leader in the field.
Here are your main responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Support the Regional Cyber Portfolio Lead, Sales, and Product Managers to implement the regional industrial cybersecurity strategy in alignment with the group-level objectives,
promoting our industrial cybersecurity solutions in areas such as IT/OT asset discovery, vulnerability management, anomaly detection, onsite and remote monitoring, and incident
response services.
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with the Regional Cyber Portfolio Lead and with customer account teams to identify customer needs, including refining sales tactics and go-to-market approaches for
cybersecurity offerings, provide scope of work documents, customer presentations, and workshop playbooks.
\xc2\xb7 Contribute to an ambitious sales and revenue pipeline, actively working with customers and technical delivery colleagues to enable the development of appropriate concepts and solutions
that specifically address end user requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Support the development of strategic initiatives in collaboration with sales and project management for business growth and target completion.
\xc2\xb7 Establish constructive relationships with customers and partners to enhance our market and competitor intelligence, influencing our winning strategies in campaign development.
\xc2\xb7 Engage, educate, and motivate both core and extended teams to ensure they are aligned with our goals and objectives.
\xc2\xb7 Support the Regional Cyber Portfolio Lead to report on business financials and provide necessary updates.
\xc2\xb7 Represent Siemens Energy at industry events, trade shows, and conventions.
Your role involves multifaceted contributions to enhance cybersecurity solutions and establish Siemens Energy as a leader in the field, all while ensuring effective collaboration across various teams
and global initiatives.
What You Bring
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation & Controls from an accredited university.
\xc2\xb7 Minimum 12 years previous experience in a relevant technical or consulting environment.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with ICS systems and ICS security industry practices with exposure to Operational technologies is preferred.
\xc2\xb7 Innovative mindset and able to create business value for different stakeholders across the region.
\xc2\xb7 Experience in all aspects of business development, including sales strategy, account management, capture, and technical proposal development.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of market analysis and demonstrated success of targeting new business, including ability to develop, document, and execute a plan for achieving awards/growth.
\xc2\xb7 Familiar with (energy sector) critical infrastructure & regulatory requirements of relevant countries.
\xc2\xb7 Construct the OT Managed security services business model including the commercial modelling, negotiate contractual terms, mitigate legal risk and obstacles, and move the
proposal to close to meet assigned quota.
\xc2\xb7 Comprehensive working knowledge of one or more of the following: IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, CPNI Good Practice, NERC CIP, TSA SD02C, NIS2.
\xc2\xb7 Experience or exposure to deploying or supporting security practices and technologies such as risk or vulnerability assessments, antivirus software, firewalls and switches, intrusion detection
systems, SIEM tools, in industrial environments such as at energy companies or large manufacturing organizations.
\xc2\xb7 Experience in technical project coordination.
\xc2\xb7 Conceptual thinker and strategic mindset; ability to define tangible and implementable concepts.
\xc2\xb7 Fluent in English
\xc2\xb7 Demonstrate excellent commercial understanding, possess excellent communications, and planning skills, and have a confident and flexible approach to their work.
\xc2\xb7 Availability to travel as needed, up to 30%.
