About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated

Product Engineer

to join our team in the medical equipment supply industry. This role involves overseeing product development, customization, quality assurance, and technical support to ensure our medical devices meet industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Design:

Work closely with R&D and suppliers to develop and improve medical equipment and components. Ensure products are designed with patient safety, usability, and regulatory compliance in mind.

Quality & Compliance:

Conduct product testing, validation, and verification to ensure compliance with medical regulations (ISO, FDA, CE, etc.). Collaborate with QA teams to maintain documentation and compliance with quality management systems.

Technical Support & Customization:

Provide technical expertise to sales, marketing, and customers regarding product features, specifications, and applications. Customize solutions based on client requirements in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.

Supplier & Manufacturing Coordination:

Work with manufacturing and supplier partners to resolve technical issues, optimize processes, and maintain product quality. Assist in cost reduction initiatives while ensuring product reliability.

Project Management:

Lead product-related projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation for stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics, or related field. 2-5 years of experience in product engineering, preferably within the medical device or healthcare equipment industry. Strong knowledge of product design, development processes, and regulatory standards (ISO 13485, CE Marking, FDA 21 CFR Part 11). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
