We are looking for a hands-on engineer to manage the functions outlined below. In addition, the role requires interaction with and contributions to other cross functional areas (e.g., Test SW, Quality, NPI, R&D, Field services, FAE\xe2\x80\x99s and etc.
Candidate will be responsible for sustaining products in the CM factory.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for sustaining products manufacturing in the CM factory, work onsite at CM factory
Hands-on debug & troubleshoot RF/hardware issues, and root cause to Test Station (Test App, station hardware), and/or DUT (Device Under Test) to module and component level.
Set up and perform RF measurements, such as gain/attenuation, spurious emissions, S parameters, phase noise, compression (P1dB) measurements, etc.
Responsible for optimization of RF test parameters, test times, touch times, and test station designs with an ultimate goal to drive down manufacturing costs.
Identify common RF failure patterns, draft plans to address them and use data analysis tools to optimize and improve test methods and limits to help deliver quality products.
Implement technical debug plans and train test engineers and technicians to drive down debug and re-test time to optimize production and delivery costs.
Consistent focus on overall HW yield enhancement, reliability improvement and other continuous improvement processes and procedures.
Ensure production processes, assembly documentation and test procedures are in place to meet the highest outgoing quality standards.
Ensure the on-going quality of the product\xe2\x80\x99s manufacturing processes/test solutions. Update and carry out all inspection/test plans to ensure that all shipments meet the specified parameters and the application level requirements.
Ensure all products leaving the CM factory meet the manufacturability, quality, and cost requirements.
Manage and execute hardware deviations, change requests and Engineering Change Orders (ECO) during various manufacturing stages.
Lead and drive process quality issue resolution. Debug any problems encountered during manufacturing or coming from the field down to root cause (module or component level).
Resolve any component or process issues that are found at the factory or the field. This includes possible design changes to support EOL components.
Work with third party vendors regarding component qualification and other characterization activities.
Disciplined monitoring and communication of product status and any issues encountered throughout the manufacturing process.
