Purpose & Scope of the role

The Product Manager heads a team of highly qualified professionals in leading the lifecycle of Digital Workplace products. These products are software pre-dominantly Microsoft O365 products and devices ranging from PCs, tablets, and phones couple with security implementations.

Key Responsibilities and Job Content

Build organizational capabilities and a learning organization.

  • Build and execute domain roadmap for hardware, operating systems, applications, and related security implementations.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the implementations incorporating business needs and standard industry practice.
  • Build and enhance capabilities in managing license consumption with the relevant stakeholder within ROCKWOOL and service providers.
  • Champion agile capabilities to reduce time in deployment and realization of benefits.
  • Industrialize services components or work process where needed and possible as part of service / delivery improvement initiatives aligned to best practices.
  • Continuously develop skills needed to perform the managerial function and for personal development.
  • Focus on engagement with team members to ensure a high performing team culture.
  • Develop competencies of team members continuously for current and future needs.
Creation of workplace culture
  • Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization\'s values.
  • Emphasize the identified objectives, goals, mission, vision, and guiding principles to ensure constant alignment of deliveries.
  • Shape a conducive work environment, relationship, and work processes.
  • Show leadership values towards the teams and stakeholders.
  • Enable trust and empowerment: ensure delegation of authority, accountability, and responsibility for improving the processes which are under their control.
Objective / Goal Execution
  • Executing agreed goals, priorities, and projects as per plan. The goals or objectives are agreed as part of the objective setting or review process.
  • Some objectives may will be ad-hoc to address business, operations or legal requirements which requires the equivalent attention and execution process.
  • Execute the above goals in an agile method where needed in assigning resources fluidly.
  • Ensure resource planning /allocation is done efficiently.
Financials
  • Prepare the necessary budget deemed necessary as part of the defined budget.
  • Approve / challenge budget approvals in ensuring prudent spending.
  • Monitor / manage the allocated budget via allocated tools and take remediation actions if needed promptly.

Professional Competencies
  • University Degree major in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Business / IT domain knowledge / IT experience in international environment.
  • 5 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in end user computing in large enterprise environment with regional / global exposure / 3 years people management experience
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and managing Microsoft Office 365 products and security related products.
  • Experience is other workspace products such as Google Workspace would be added advantage.
  • Degree in Information Technology / IT fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in managing teams, ITIL processes and methodology.
  • Good personal skills and presentation skills
