  • Develop, implement and evaluate marketing plan(s) and strategies for existing and new products.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfDevelop marketing, sales and promotional tools and ensure compliance to company guidelines and relevant legislation in order to achieve marketing and sales goals.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfManage the elements of the product and marketing mix to achieve the sales and profit objectives of the portfolio.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfConduct field visits with Sales Representatives or Area Sales Managers to collect feedback on current campaigns and market conditions/needs.
  • Monitors and analyse competitor products and marketing activities. For key competitors, develop and maintain the competitor profiles. Develop counter strategy in-line with marketing plan and implement accordingly.
  • Identify product training needs and develop products and/or activities to address these needs to groups or individuals.
  • Develop, maintain and improve training materials for internal product training.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfConduct product training for B. Braun employees in all aspects of product knowledge, including:-
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfProduct Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, Area Sales Managers and Therapy Specialists.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfDevelop relationships with appropriate customer groups and professional working bodies.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfIdentify and develop positive relationships with Key Opinion Leaders through regular interaction and customer visits.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfSupport the sales and education team with in-service education for customers when required.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfSupport sales activities within key hospitals as per agreed sales and marketing strategies.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfProvide leadership and marketing direction to the sales team in sales activities and projects as agreed and established with Sales Management.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfEvaluate and observe demonstrated use of product knowledge when working with Products Application Specialists, Sales Representatives and Area Sales Managers.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfEstablish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to facilitate the timely exchange of product information. This includes global marketing & sales teams.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfProvide relevant feedback and suggestions for products improvements based on market feedback.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfCo-ordinate any product trials for market evaluation where applicable.
Professional competencies
  • 5+ years of product management in medical device field
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfSustained high performance
  • Healthcare Industry experience and or a scientific, clinical or nursing background are highly preferable
  • Able to lead team members through directing, guiding, coaching and mentoring.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfAble to identify gaps and develop team\'s competency in related areas of responsibility.
  • \xef\xbb\xbf\xef\xbb\xbfSolves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.

  • Strong presentational skills, capable of summarizing and communicating key information
