Come join us and be a part of our digitalization journey.We are seeking a highly motivated and strategically thinking Product Manager to join our team and take ownership of our PIM portfolio. In this role, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our product family Digital Commerce & Advisory by developing and executing strategies to streamline and optimize our offers to provide product information to BASF#s customers via our portals, webshops and websites.Responsibilities and Key Outcomes

• Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our PIM solutions, aligning with the overall company vision and goals.
• Lead team of 19 colleagues around the globe, develop them and connect to other product teams to make our vision of a seamless customer experience reality.
• Conduct (market) research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape, ensuring that our products stay ahead of the curve.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including other product teams in GD as well as marketing and communication teams in our operating divisions, to ensure successful product development, adoption and operations.
• Promote modernization of legacy PIM solutions in ODs by replacing them with our standard PIM solution.
• Monitor product performance and usage metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to continuously improve and optimize the product.
• Build and maintain a BAFS wide user community including efficient communication to ensure constant input regarding changing customer needs.
• Act as the subject matter expert PIM, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Explore new technologies (e.g. LLM and AI) to further improve efficiency and enable faster and broader usage of our PIM solutions.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or other leadership roles, ideally with strong background in BASF\'s operating divisions (marketing, communication, product stewardship).

Technical & Professional Knowledge (mandatory)

• Strong understanding of business process management, integration technologies, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
• Interest and basic understanding of LLMs and AI (prompt engineering) highly welcome
• Change agent with strong desire to question status quo and drive for excellence.
• Advanced know-how and experience in working in agile frameworks.
• Advanced know-how in MACH architecture.
