About Our Client
Our client is a principal company with a wide range of market-leading, branded prescription medicines and consumer healthcare products for over 20 countries across Asia, Australasia, and Africa. Their portfolio includes weight management, cough and cold, throat, pain management, vitamins, health supplements, dermatology, cardiology, respiratory health, allergy and female health products.
Deliver annual Net Sales and EBITA financial targets for Malaysia, including year-on-year growth targets and agreed market shares
Prepare the annual brand plans and budgets, and S&OP monthly demand forecasts; and manage all marketing A&P efficiently and monitor its effectiveness to ensure a positive ROI on investments
Ensure an HCP centric mindset is at the forefront of all brand activity and develop a strong technical understanding of the assigned brands
Lead, direct and control marketing programs and activities ensuring that they comply with marketing codes, regulations and standards to protect the company and brand\'s reputation
Help identify and engage speakers for multiple CMEs and conferences including all the pre-recorded sessions with KOLs for webinars. Lead the Docquity platform planning and content initiatives.
Monitor, analyse and evaluate market and brand trends, patient behaviours and competitor activity to identify actionable insights that guide business decisions, adjusting marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions
Identify and evaluate portfolio gaps and comply with the iGate process requirements. This includes supporting the evaluation and analysis of global/regional NPD initiatives. Develop good quality local launch plans for iGate submissions in a timely manner.
Ensure the sales team is adequately supported with brand detail aids and provided appropriate training
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that all patient, customer and HCP initiatives are consistent with approved business strategies and brand style guidelines
The Successful Applicant
A recognised university science/biomedical/pharmacy degree qualification is required
4+yrs pharmaceutical marketing experience is essential in multiple channels, ideally in Private hospital, GP clinics, Pharmacy, Govt HA
A strong HCP centric mindset with an ability to learn a high level of technical awareness on assigned brands
Understands business strategy and is able to contribute effectively to brand planning and budgeting
Experience in developing marketing programs to drive KOL and HCP recommendation and endorsement
Experience in developing multi-channel marketing programs and detailing materials for hospitals, clinics and retail pharmacies
Experience in evaluating potential NPD/BD opportunities and developing corresponding launch plans
Plan and manage brand development projects, setting KPIs and co-ordinating efficient use of resources and managing communication with key stakeholders
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including experience with Microsoft presentations
Ethical channel experience
TAs experience in dermatology, cardiology, and/or respiratory will be an added advantage
