Job responsibility:

The incumbent will be responsible for the marketing and promotional efforts of established products. This will include but is not limited to creation and conceptualization of strategies for improving and marketing of the assigned products; projection, determination and achievement of financial and operating plans for the assigned products; monitoring results of plans executed, with possible flexibility of marketing tactics to evolving conditions, and managing life cycle of products under portfolio.

Incumbent will be handling IV Drugs range of products which are given to patients who are critically and chronically ill through infusion.

The position will report to the BU Manager and does not have any direct reports.

Job Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Degree in Science or equivalent.

\xc2\xb7 Minimum 3-5 years field experience in pharmaceutical sales and 4 years of ethical product management experience

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with government hospital selling and dealing with surgeons and anaesthetist

\xc2\xb7 Experience in managing mature products will be an added advantage

\xc2\xb7 Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities through good decision making, taking charge and managing of situations, relationship building and teamwork.

\xc2\xb7 Possess strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a keen sense of urgency.

\xc2\xb7 Must be aggressive, dynamic, enthusiastic, proactive and analytical.

\xc2\xb7 Ability to work on own initiative and accurately to tight deadlines, and prioritize between conflicting demands.

\xc2\xb7 Must be a self-starter, receptive to change and able to work with minimal supervision.
