Job Description

Reporting to the Product Integrity Manager, the Product Safety & Compliance Officer will play a key role in the growth of Sensata technology by ensuring that our products comply with all relevant legislation through their lifecycle. You will also review employees\xe2\x80\x99 work and provide advice on compliance using state-of-the-art methods to achieve world class outcomes.

You will have responsibility for a global team of Product Compliance Auditors and will be supported by our Material Content Experts.

Maintain an effective legal compliance process.

Participate in industry conference and committees to provide feedback on lessons learned, future industry changes, expectations and provide training and support for product safety and compliance for new and existing products.

Identify regulations according to the context for Sensata Technologies globally and ensure that they are correctly interpreted to be implemented within relevant Sensata Technologies organization units.

Ensure that documentation demonstrating compliance to applicable regulations (Technical File) is approved by the Product Compliance Auditor before Start of Production (SOP)

Monitor for changes to regulations, determine the impact to the business, communicate the change requirements.

Work closely with different Sensata departments and stakeholders to drive change.

Resolve conflicts/disagreement during the regulatory compliance management process including on time escalation to management.

Influence regulatory and standards requirements for the benefit of Sensata business.
