Oversee the full scope of R&D works related to existing product expansion as well as new product development.
Ensure continuous improvement of R&D practices and compliance to company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and food safety standards.
To improve and revise existing product formulations and processes if necessary to optimize productivity and cost.
In charge in sourcing and procurement of materials for product testing and development.
To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation that comply with food regulation.
Labelling related to food safety (Nutrition, Ingredients listing, Allergen Statement, Dosage of Consumption etc.)
Registration, Statutory and Regulatory Study Product Registration - liaise with MOH
Prepare documents such as formula, label, and evaluation reports
To perform ad hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time
Qualifications & experience
Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology /Food Science, Chemistry, Bio Technology;
Preferably candidate with more than 2 years' experience in Food Manufacturing.
Familiar on compliance of food safety standard such as ISO 9001, HACCP, HALAL, GMP and ISO quality management systems and other food-related regulations requirements is beneficial.
Independent and able to work with minimal supervision.
Target oriented and ability to work under pressure to meet targets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Experience with statistical process control and quality management systems
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
