Job Description

The Product Specification Executive is responsible for promoting and securing the specification of the company's building materials in both construction and interior design projects. This includes engaging with architects, interior designers, consultants, engineers, and developers to ensure products are incorporated into project plans and tender documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and secure product specifications with architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and developers.

Conduct regular face-to-face visits, presentations, and technical briefings with design and construction professionals.

Travel extensively for site visits, design firm engagements, consultant meetings, and project tracking.

Prepare and submit technical proposals, samples, mock-ups, and supporting documents such as drawings, datasheets and project proposal for approval and tender use.

Track project opportunities from concept through construction to ensure product specification and supply.

Advise clients on technical requirements and product suitability.

Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies and achieve conversion.

Maintain records of client interactions and update CRM/project tracking systems.

Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and CPD seminars.

Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Product Manager or General Manager, including urgent project needs, internal reporting, or special assignments.

Requirements:

2-3 years of experience in technical sales or specification-related roles within the construction/building materials industry. Good understanding of construction project flows and industry standards. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or Adobe AI software is a plus. Familiar with design and construction workflows, including interpretation of drawings. Willing and able to travel

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
