Product Support Engineer, FeedMilling

In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing feed milling systems and equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet industry standards, client requirements, and performance expectations.





Responsibilities:


Plan, conceptualize, and create mechanical designs for new products Develop testing processes, and perform testing and validation of new designs Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration Perform engineering calculations to support design work Create and review technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer software Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and work with vendors and contractors Cost Estimation: Assist in developing cost estimates for design projects and provide input on materials, labour, and project timelines. Ensure project timeline is met, and project stays within budget




Requirements:


Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Inventor, Pro-E) Experience with technical drawings, BOMs and engineering documentation Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and welding Team player with cross-functional collaboration skills Familiar with pneumatics, conveyors, gears, motors and sensors Strong attention to detail Passionate about mechanical design
