The Production Flow Assistant is responsible for coordinating daily production activities to ensure smooth workflow, efficient manpower arrangement, and proper material and stock control. This role serves as the link between the Production, Warehouse, QC, and Maintenance teams to ensure all production targets are achieved with consistent quality and food safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Coordination
Plan and coordinate daily production schedules based on work orders and customer requirements.
Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, and manpower are prepared before production starts.
Monitor production progress and highlight any delay, shortage, or breakdown to the Production Supervisor.
Workers Arrangement
Arrange and assign workers according to production needs, ensuring each line or process has sufficient manpower.
Brief workers on daily tasks, work instructions, and safety procedures.
Monitor attendance, performance, and discipline of production staff, and report issues to the supervisor.
Stock Control & Material Handling
Check and confirm material availability before each production run.
Coordinate with the Warehouse team for timely issuance and return of raw materials and packaging.
Monitor usage of materials and minimize wastage.
Record daily material consumption and update stock movement to ensure accurate tracking.
Production Flow Monitoring
Oversee the flow of goods between stages (mixing, filling, packing, labeling, storage) to ensure a continuous and balanced process.
Ensure correct materials and packaging are used according to batch and specification.
Support in troubleshooting minor line interruptions and assist in improving production efficiency.
Documentation & Reporting
Record daily production output, wastage, and downtime accurately.
Verify and submit production reports, batch records, and material usage summaries to the Production Supervisor.
Ensure all documents comply with GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Halal requirements.
Quality & Food Safety Compliance
Ensure all production activities follow SOP, hygiene, and safety standards.
Work closely with QC to ensure product quality meets specifications.
Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness in production areas.
Other Duties
Support production supervisors in any improvement projects or audits.
Carry out any other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Diploma or Certificate in Food Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in production coordination or similar role in food manufacturing.
Good organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Halal standards.
Able to work under pressure and adapt to changing production schedules.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
