Job Description

Competencies Requirements (Education, Training and Experience):

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operation Management or any related field

2. Minimum 5-7 years in factory management, preferably in engineering or manufacturing industry

3. Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills

4. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing , Kaizen or other process improvement methodologies, ISO Standard and production planning tools is an advantage

5. Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily production activities.

Supervise supervisors, team leaders, and operators to ensure smooth workflow.

Ensure production targets and delivery timelines are met.

2. Quality & Process Control

Monitor product quality and coordinate with QA/QC for inspections.

Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented promptly.

Promote process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

3. Team Supervision & Training

Provide leadership, guidance, and support to production staff.

Assist in training and mentoring supervisors and operators.

Handle minor disciplinary issues and escalate major ones to the Production Manager.

4. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily/weekly reports on production output, downtime, and issues.

Communicate effectively with other departments such as Engineering, Procurement, and Logistics.

Support the Production Manager in budget monitoring and resource planning.

5. Health, Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety practices and compliance with statutory regulations.

Conduct regular safety checks and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
