Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with production processes, inventory management, and documentation procedures is preferred.
Experience with data entry and computerized systems commonly used in manufacturing settings.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems or production management software is advantageous.
Ability to operate office equipment such as printers, scanners, and photocopiers.
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
Must understand and able to speak Chinese.
Responsibilities
Data Entry: Inputting production data, such as quantities produced, materials used, and equipment downtime, into computer systems or spreadsheets accurately and in a timely manner.
Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular counts, and reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and records.
Order Processing: Processing production orders, including picking materials, scheduling production runs, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely completion.
Documentation: Maintaining production records and documentation, such as work orders, production reports, and quality control documents, in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Scheduling: Assisting production managers in creating and maintaining production schedules, ensuring that production targets are met while optimizing resource utilization.
Quality Control: Participating in quality control activities, such as inspecting finished products for defects, recording non-conformances, and assisting in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Communication: Liaising with production staff, supervisors, and other departments to relay information, address issues, and ensure smooth workflow and coordination.
Equipment Monitoring: Monitoring production equipment and machinery for proper operation, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Assistance with Production Tasks: Providing support to production staff as needed, including preparing materials, operating machinery, and performing other tasks to help meet production goals.
Compliance: Adhering to workplace health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies at all times to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
