Coach and develop operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.4.Handle grievance of production operators, recommend appropriate actions to maintain discipline among operators and recommend promotions of operators to management.5. Responsible for troubleshooting problems and making good judgement / decisions during or after office hours.6 Proper empowerment and work delegation.Safety:1) Monitor and ensure all set KPI targets are met and followed truly by N-1.2) Ensure all near misses and incidents are reported promptly.3) Execute the consequences and reward policy in the right manner and identify the gaps.4) Follow up with actions on safety audit findings and action promptly.5) Overall accountability in plant wide safety and being followed according to set protocols.6) To communicate safety alerts, lesson learned and incident sharing on time to department7) To ensure employees/contractors well trained on their task8) To accountable on employees/contractors safety9) To intervene any unsafe behaviour at site10) Encourage employees/contractors to conduct peer to peer safety observation.Production/Planning/Quality/Delivery1) Ensure and monitor the weekly milling plan is being followed and align with packing output.2) Ensure the contingency plan is available in advance to not meet the packing plan. Anticipate the difficulties before escalating to the department head for solutions.3) Monitor and verify daily production reports before publishing. Areas covered will be OEE and energy.4) Ensure all ritual management such as shift handover, Daily Operation meeting and other weekly meetings are conducted in a timely manner.5) Make sure all process parameters are being followed and monitored by executives or supervisors.6) Ensure all in process quality parameters deviations are addressed promptly and action being taken.7) Ensure all Job Cards raised are followed up by executives or supervisors and closed promptly with actions in a timely manner.8) Support and guide supervisors on troubleshooting and escalation plans to the process team.9) To monitor monthly mass balance targets are met and submitted in a timely manner.10) Monitor and measure consumable materials variances prior to monthly mass balance.11) Monitor labour, raw material variances and address them in a timely manner for discrepancies.12) Ensure all management information is cascaded downstream and get feedback for ideas and improvements.13) Monitor and follow up truly on multi tasking training.14) Follow up daily for delivery and ensure met on time delivery is met.15) Accountable for customer complaints and process deviation RCA.
