Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a

Production Engineer

in our

Kernel Crushing Plant

at

PGEO Oil Mill Sdn Bhd

(A Member Of Wilmar Group Of Companies) located in

Pasir Gudang

.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or

Chemical Engineering

.

Fresh graduates

are encouraged to apply. Experience in

kernel crushing plant operations

,

palm oil processing

, or

manufacturing

will be an added advantage.

Main Tasks & Accountabilities

Supervise daily

maintenance operations

of the screw press and implement

preventive maintenance programs

to ensure reliable plant performance. Oversee and coordinate

welding activities

(worms & collars), ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to specifications. Plan and schedule work for

Operators, Fitters, and Welders

to align with production targets. Provide technical advice to the

Plant Manager (PM)

on improving screw press efficiency to achieve higher oil yield, throughput, and cost control. Assist the PM in

quality control

of incoming kernels and overall production quality assurance. Troubleshoot maintenance issues promptly to

minimize downtime

and ensure continuous operations. Monitor screw press

operating cycles

, track maintenance intervals, and prepare

daily production reports

. Serve as acting Foreman during absences to ensure seamless operations. Support the PM in

motivating and developing

production and maintenance teams to enhance productivity and yield. Promote

safety awareness

and enforce safety practices among all production and maintenance staff. Implement and maintain

GMP+, HACCP

, and other quality assurance standards in the plant. Perform other duties as assigned by superiors to support continuous improvement and company goals.

Others:

Comply with all company policies, regulations, and statutory requirements. Participate in the implementation of management systems such as

HACCP, GMP, HALAL, ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001:2007, and RSPO

.
