Our Fabrication/Controls Department in Port Klang, Selangor is now looking for Production Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• To demonstrate through example of high commitment and alignment with value of Aker Solutions Vision is to be the preferred partner for all stakeholders, through: HSSE Mindset Customer Drive Hands-on Management Delivering Quality Results Open and Direct Dialogue People and Teams
• To be fully understood on HSSE and legislation requirements and ensure all related documents are available at shop floor for all type of activities.
• To prepare standard costing template for Mechanical assembly & test, CAPEX for tooling and equipment. To verify and ensure more accurate estimation costing provided to Tender.
• To lead in continual improvement programs of machining and welding related to HSSE, quality, cost savings, efficiency, productivity, quality, delivery, yield and zero NCR.
• To check and verify 4M analysis prior to project execution.
• To lead and execute any other duties assigned by the Line Manager / Management.
• To support Production to ensure works are executed as per standard codes (e.g. ISO and API requirements).
• To check and verify manufacturing processes are achieving the required TAKT time and lead time.
• To lead and provide support to all technical aspects and expedite with Engineering on technical matters (TQs, concessions & deviations) in a timely manner.
• To lead in PFMEA, control plan, and process documentation.
• To support Production to check and verify on root causes analysis are completed and lesson learnt are been implemented to prevent re-occurre

We think you should have:

Qualification

• Minimum a degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Shall have 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.

Abilities and Knowledge

• Well verse with engineering drawings, schematic diagram, GD&T, procedures, codes applicable to pressure components (e.g. ASME etc.) and highly experience in Pressure Test set up, Testing (both Hydro and Gas Test), HPU system and electrical / electronics.
• Broader knowledge and highly experienced in HSSE and Quality requirements for tools & equipment, Mechanical & Electrical Assembly, Pressure Set-up, Pressure Testing, FAT and Hyperbaric works.
• Well-versed with 5S and Lean Management (WIP, rework, cycle time, efficiency) at production floor.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skill, both verbal and written (English), good analytical skills to drive the continuous results.
• A good team player with leadership skill, dynamic, self-driven, ability to lead a team and consistent.
• Well verse on codes applicable to pressure components (e.g. ASME, Norsok, API ISO etc.).
