Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Assist production manager in handling and resolving any disputes or problems that occur in production. To ensure the smooth running of daily operational activities. Coordinating daily production activities and assisting in order to organize work according to the strategy of department. Attend meetings with production manager. To ensure smooth operation of machines by communicate with Maintenance Department on the engineering needs so that facilities and equipment are always well maintain to meet the production needs. Responsible for manpower and inventory arrangement. Monitoring personnel discipline to ensure harmonious working environment. To review, assess and make recommendations for improvements on production performance and requirement. Responsible for identifying training needs, carry out planning on employee deployment and training employees. Maintain proper housekeeping practice in the production area. To assist in order and ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Chemistry/ Food Science/ Food Technology or equivalent. At least 2 years of working experience in food production is an added advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of further food processing is preferable. Knowledge in ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and HALAL standards will be added advantage. Possess strong leadership qualities. Possess strong commitment, good communication skills, and management skills Able to work independently and self-motivated. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Applicant must be willing to work at Segambut, Kuala Lumpur.
