Job Description

• Managing, processes, schedules, manpower allocation, operating budgets, operating costs and performance
• Assessing and allocating production and resource requirements
• Managing timelines and work priorities to meet timely production and output as per customers\xe2\x80\x99 sales orders
• People management , planning and monitoring the production floor
• Observing the effective adoption and where necessary, upgrading of standard operating procedures of production operations
• Trouble shooting and resolving promptly daily and other recurring production related and industrial plant issues
• Minimizing production, processing and plant wastages
• Reporting, monitoring and analyzing equipment performance and reliability to ensure production targets are achieved, routine plant maintenance is observed and plant down time is minimised
• Liaising with all parties to optimise production output, manpower management, materials utilisation, facilities, machineries, quality, delivery on time as to standard
• Ensuring all products produced meet required specifications and standards and satisfy the quantity and quality level as per customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements
• Maximising production yield, production efficiency, production volume, manpower and capacity utilisation
• Optimising continuous improvements and lean management in manufacturing processes, policies, procedures and workforce performance
• Adhering to all Health, Food Legislations, Food Safety, Workplace Safety and Environmental regulations, policies and standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000)
• To ensure that safety and environmental regulations, rules, policies and standards are observed among factory workers during production, modification and maintenance of plant equipment and machinery
• Other duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Company

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering / Food Technology / Food Science or equivalent
• Managerial experience at a manufacturing facility, preferably within the food industry
• Ability to analyse processes and information, identify problems and trends and develop effective solutions and strategies
• Good communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and people management skills
• Committed, proactive and results-oriented
