JOB DESCRIPTION:

• To ensure production and maintenance strategies and structure set up are carried out accordingly and the department strategies are in-line including any contingency plan design to any unforeseen condition
• To lead and ensure project management meet the timeline.
• To ensure staffs understand and applied all company policies and operation procedures
• To schedule process evaluation to production floor to the equipment, facilities and machineries
• To monitor day-to-day production ERP operation as SCHEDULING & REFILLING and ensure that all schedule is executed orderly
• To instill a culture of quality at doing thing right at the first time until complete process
• Maintaining ERP inventory management processes as initiate forecasting, analysis with collaboration among Sales
• To ensure that staff receive sufficient on job training before carrying out any task potential of affecting quality
• To develop staff through further training either through internal or external programs as human development program for the effective functioning of the department
• To set sufficient objectives for the department and to monitor periodically to ensure objectives are in line and met.
• To review and evaluate necessary purchases plan for current and Capital Investment Proposal as machinery, facility and safety in the production floor
• To analyses all processes, customer complaints, quality reports, internal audit reports and make the necessary changes in procedures or policies.
• To instill a cost minimization attitude in the department as overtime planning, consumable item, manpower set up and energy saving
• Members of Safety Committee, participate in HSE program and collaborate with HSE Department for production floor safety awareness
• Availability and preparedness of Monthly Factory Report, any Certification Renewal Audit and Annual KPI Management Review Meeting
• Any Ad Hoc or other task assigned by superior from time to time

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• At least Bachelor\'s Degree in Chemical engineering or equivalent
• Have proven experience in leading and managing production / manufacturing department.
• Strong Communication and Coordination Skills.
• Experience in chemical or paint industry will be an advantage
