JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Production Planning & Coordination

Develop and manage daily, weekly and monthly production schedules.

Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse and QC to ensure smooth workflow

Monitor raw material availability and ensure production runs without interruption.

2. Quality Control & Product Standards

Ensure all products meet required quality standards and customer specifications.

Work closely with QA/QC teams to investigate defects and implement corrective actions.

Maintain compliance with safety, hygiene and manufacturing regulations.

3. Hot Press Operation

Oversee the operation of the hot press machine for board production.

Ensure all boards are pressed according tor required temperature, pressure and cycle settings.

Monitor quality during and after hot press processes to ensure consistency.

Troubleshoot machine issue and coordinates maintenance with the technical team.

4. Team Management & Supervision

Lead, train and supervise production operators and line leaders.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous coaching.

Create a positive, disciplined and productive working environment.

5. Process Improvement & Efficiency

Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce wastage.

Implement SOP's, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure machines and equipment are used correctly to achieve maximum output.

6. Equipment & Maintenance Oversight

Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance team to repairs.

Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out according to schedule.

Reduce downtime through proactive monitoring.

7. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily/wee/monthly production reports (output, reject and downtime).

Ensure accurate documentation for inventory, production bateches and wastage.

Present production performance updates to upper management.

8. Safety & Compliance

Enforce safety rules and ensure all staff follow SOP and PPE requirement.

Conduct safety briefings and lead incident investigations if needed.

Ensure compliance with environment and regulatory standards.

REQUIREMENT

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Vocational or technical certificates in wood-based panel or melamine production are an advantage.

Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production management preferably in melamine board or wood-based panel industry.

Strong knowledge of hot press operations, production processes and quality control.

Excellent leadership, planning and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.

Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
