To complement our team, we are looking for a customer- and team-oriented individual for our Plasma Control Technologies division at the Penang site as aProduction ManagerFor 75 years, we have been following our curiosity. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication.In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s / Masters Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Automation Engineering discipline with more than 10 years of experience in MNCs
• More than 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing with excellent track record in delivery against targets and driving accountability
• Strong leadership with organizational skills and details oriented including able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Able to drive daily manufacturing KPIs ie. SQCDP with the team independently under minimum supervision
• People Manager in driving manufacturing of more than 50 people
• Experience in driving and managing NPI till mass production
• Excellent knowledge of and experience in driving Process Improvement approaches ie. Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FPY, etc.
• SAP experience and knowledge is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Set, implement, maintain and meet Production Goals and KPIs
• Ensure all tasks are carried out safely within the agreed datelines and effect contingency plans where necessary
• Manage daily production operations, manage team to ensure production quantity & quality targets are met
• Ensure production practices comply to 6S practice, Company Processes, ISO and Internal Standards requirements
• Oversee troubleshooting of product, quality and equipment, anticipate potential operational issues and drives corrective actions
• Partnering with Planning Department to create and maintain production planning schedule
• Liaising with other departments to ensure no line down situation
• Support in setting up production lines for new product releases
• Implement lean practices in production floor
• Oversee RMA Department to ensure the units are returned to Customers on timely basis and repairs are performed per Compliance
