Job Description

Our client is an established multinational food manufacturer, and they are currently looking for a Production Manager to be based in Rawang, Selangor.Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare productions plans and motivate the teams to achieve production yields, quality targets and on time delivery through optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, materials and cost.
• To plan, organize and developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality to meet the production schedules.
• Continuous monitoring to maximize production output, and minimize wastage of materials, time and resources.
• Coordinate and liaise with respective departmental, Quality, Technical, Supply Chain, Warehouse, R&D, etc to enable the operations to operate in the best manner and most effective way.
• Good inventory management by implementing good procedures and practices for materials receiver, withdrawing, returning and system updating in compliance to the organization standards. Carry out regular and yearly stock count with no major variances.
• Ensure all the operation work orders close timely and accurately.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken to deal with non-conformance (internal & external) found in production and warehousing area.
• Ensure customer complaints are being investigated and provide reply within set time frame. Follow through corrective and preventive actions.
• To ensure GMP requirements are being comply in production areas & production related areas. Working closely with Food Safety Team in monitoring the Food Safety Plan parameters.
• Ensure good raw/packaging material management to ensure flawless operation schedule plan.
• Recruit, manage and develop manpower team to achieve high performance standard.
• To participate in all audits (internal & external), ensure all NCs are investigated & to provide corrective & preventive measures.

Culture And Mindset Building

• New implementation and standardization with proper written SOP / WI.
• Build GMP culture among operation team to ensure good quality practices always maintained.
• Collaboration and engage with shopfloor to identify their needs and necessary support to drive performance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Food Science and other Science related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of working experience in managerial position in food industry or other related industry.
• Able to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of operations.
• Knowledge in food manufacturing standards. Knowledge of international key-account customers (McDonald\'s, YUM, RBI, etc.) requirements is added advantage.
• Knowledge of general business software (SAP/JDE) and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
• Willing to work in Rawang, Selangor.
