Production Mechanical Engineering Manager (PME Manager)

This is a public listed Taiwanese company, which the parent group is the top 5 electronic company in the Taiwan stock market. The position is for their new motherboard manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru.

This position will be reporting to the Deputy Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve assembly and packaging processes for product mechanical structures.
• Plan and design production tools and automation, and coordinate between suppliers and product design units.
• Define product packaging specifications and label-related information.
• Conduct reviews of product mechanical design (DFX, NUDD, PFMEA).
• Manage the mechanical team and maintenance of various production automation equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree or higher in a mechanical-related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in the development, design, or project management of electronic product mechanical structures, with a preference for experience in server systems.
• Experience in packaging design and the design of production support fixtures.
• Preferred experience in the introduction of production automation equipment.
• Team management experience.
