Responsible for coordinating all aspects of production to ensure efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products.
Create and maintain daily/ weekly/ monthly production schedules, aligning with sales forecasts and customer orders.
Adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate machine breakdowns, labor shortages, or urgent orders.
Planning on carton boxes and wooden pallets require for production and closely monitor for their availability to ensure sufficient supply and collaborate with procurement team.
Monitor stock levels of those supplies and initiate reorders to prevent shortages.
Oversee raw material inventory and finished goods stock to minimize overstocking or stockouts.
Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) practices to reduce storage costs and waste (e.g. expired glazes or damaged ceramics).
Liaise with sales and logistics teams to priorities urgent orders and manage delivery timelines.
Provide updates to senior management on production performance (e.g output vs. targets, delays).
Use ERP system (e.g. SAP) to track production data, material usage, and order status.
Leverage data analytics to forecast demand and improve planning accuracy.
To do gas nomination (Gas Malaysia) for production based on planning and forecast.
Coordinate with quality control, warehouse, and other department members.
Monitor production progress and ensure that the final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
Planning and monitor closely on cut tiles orders and ensure goods ready on time.
To carry out other duties as instructed and arranged by superior from time to time.
