Initiate the P.O. purchase of raw materials, components and packing required to manufacture product per customer orders
Schedule the deliveries of purchased raw materials, components, packaging and items requiring secondary operations
Anticipate lead times necessary to allow for the manufacturing, packaging and shipping of finished goods to customers by their scheduled dock dates
Work in conjunction with Project/Program Managers to analyze customer demand, sales forecasts and historical material usage to establish the best economic strategy (i.e.make-to-stock or make-to-order, for meeting customer demand and business objectives
Optimize our inventory levels in order to minimize our inventory investment while achieving he desired target service levels for our customers
Support plant operations by performing special assignments, answering interdepartmental requests, along with those made by customers and vendors
Ensure our service levels meet or exceed company target
Participate in physical inventory when scheduled
