• Review specifications or part drawings and develop part designs with little assistance from

Engineering.

• Develop, apply and maintain consistent labor and material standards.

• Develop new rubber products from conceptions, with minimal help from Engineering

• Assist Engineering with developing tooling, equipment and materials to startup new products

and to improve existing production processes.

• Company safety procedures to be followed at all times.

• Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Assist with quotations by providing input on manufacturing processes or special tooling and

fixtures that may be required for production demandsRequired Education and Experience:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and around 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry

serving as a Production Process EngineerOther Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with production and manufacturing processes

• Strong leadership, communications, and organizational skills

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize while also focusing on project completion

• Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail

• Excellent written communication and presentation skills

• Proficient computer skills

• A working knowledge of plant processes necessary to support preparation of product

recommendations.

• Experience in Statistical Process Control a plus

• Must have an understanding of data base management and Windows NT.

• Must have knowledge of MS Word and MX Excel.

• Ability to design using AutoCad or other CAD software

• Familiar with Rubber Manufacturing Association Standards a plus.

• Project Management skills required
