POSITION OVERVIEW

You will be the steward of the H.B. Fuller\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s production management systems and manufacturing processes covering product and processing technology at the site to optimize quality, reliability and delivery at the lowest costs.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES

You will be involved in a variety of activities including, but not limited to:-

Plan, organize and implement production activities.

Oversees the work of production staff including managing staffing levels, assigning tasks, and ensuring that staff are trained and equipped to perform their jobs safely and effectively.

Strengthen the workplace discipline, safety control and housekeeping in all areas.

Manage all related expenses to agreed target levels.

Foster continuous improvement culture in the production organization.

Constantly review the existing work processes, people management and productivity improvement programs.

Ensuring all quality requirements as determined by H.B. Fuller\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s quality assurance processes are always followed in the production processes.

Participate in steering the company with the Quality Management System (QMS).

Responsible for maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of the QMS procedures for Production department.

Ensure that all the pertinent issues with appropriates documentation and data are always available.

Initiate problem solving and troubleshooting processes.

Provide training and development to staffs for job enhancement.

Weekly and monthly review of departmental performances.

Other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

A Degree in Engineering background is highly preferred.

At least 7 years of experience working in the paint/coating/O&G/FMCG industry.

Good oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Familiarity with SAP and other ERP system.

Personal \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x98hands on\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99 leadership and coaching skills.

Analytical, good planning and organizing skills.

Able to work under pressure, outgoing, results oriented.

Self-motivated and team player.
