Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment (including jigs and fixtures), staff (production team member) and processes on production floor;
• Manage the performance, motivation and satisfaction of Production team and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency are met;
• Responsible for the arrangement of production team regarding to handle ERP transaction and posting and ensure all daily records and documents are updated accordingly;
• Prepare and review daily production report on output, WIP, yield percentage and attendance;
• Carry out lean activities as planned and benchmark all good practices to be implemented into production line and ability to use computer applications;
• Provide proper training to the associates and ensure they are certified to perform their job with the tools provided according to SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)/WI (Work Instruction);
• Conduct a regular 1:1 meeting, weekly stand up meeting with the associate as part of communication to provide or receive update, feedback and discuss about personal development and calibrate on expectation;
• Ensure the production team is clearly communicated with company policies, EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and quality regulatory requirements and comply with it at all time;
• Contain and investigate any quality issue timely (together with Engineer/Technician etc) in order to minimize the cost impact and escape to customer;
• To stop production of non-conforming products and control, identify and segregate production rejects as well as ensuring the traceability of control items;
• Monitor and maintain good 5S at Production area all the time;
• Handle ERP transaction and posting and ensure all daily records and documents are updated accordingly;
• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by superior.

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years working Experience in working in an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) or Wire Harnessing organization is highly desired;
• Strong in data analysis and is data driven;
• Understand manufacturing concept, experience in lean and six sigma is preferred.
• Excellent problem solving, investigation skills, detail orientation;
• Experience in production planning and execution will be an added advantages;
• Strong leadership skill and great people management in managing a group of production workers both foreign and local;
• Able to work as a team to achieve department objective;
• Must possess good communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 Written and Verbal
• Must be able to use Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint);

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month Schedule:
