Production Supervisor (Mechanical)

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating all production activities, ensuring that materials, equipment, and personnel are available when needed to meet production schedules. Uphold quality standards, implementing quality control measures and ensuring products meet or exceed specifications. Quickly identify and address production issues such as equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or quality problems to minimize disruptions. Lead and manage production teams, motivating employees, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment. Develop and implement production plans and schedules based on customer orders and inventory levels. Allocate labor, materials, and equipment effectively to optimize production efficiency. Inspect products at various stages of production, implement quality improvement initiatives, and address non-conformities. To reduce miss operation by employee Train, supervise, and evaluate production workers, ensuring they follow safety and quality procedures. Ensure regular maintenance of production equipment, coordinate repairs, and report equipment issues. Timely escalate equipment to respective team and get help need Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels, and communicate with the purchasing and logistics teams. Collect and analyse production data, prepare reports on production performance, and identify areas for improvement. Follow superior's decision and complete assigned task in timely manner Communicate and align the arrangement with the peer in other shifts Drive for the implementation of 5S and safety standard to ensure shopfloor environment is always maintained at a very clean and tidy level. Abide the progress of production lot according to the schedule. Anticipate on, and recognise and take action for events/situations that could adversely affect production efficiencies. Ensure training to all the shift staff is systematic organized and well prepared, aiming that the trainee effectively learn and understand how to execute defined rules and task completion. Drive for operational development Attend all the operation's forums & show leadership - Area meeting. Leadership in loading strategy, WIP, LT, MP and MA toward goals. Focus on successor development

Your profile

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Material Science fields or equivalent Minimum 8 years experience as supervisory role in Semiconductor or PCB or Substrate Fabrications, Wafer Fabrication, Assembly and Test Engineering, Maintenance or Production Operations or equivalent, (required to work in clean room enviroment) Knowledge of quality tools: 8D, SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, CP, JMP Software, Six Sigma Process tools Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills
